The House of Walpole, a unique design concept between Walpole, Northacre and architectural interior design studio Oliver Burns, showcases a one-of-a-kind apartment at one of the world's most prestigious addresses. Having been built, designed and furnished throughout by Walpole member brands including Mulberry, Savoir Beds, Jennifer Manners & Bazaar London this show apartment is an ultimate expression of British luxury and craftsmanship.
"A tribute to her late majesty, a homage to the Royal Gardens and a celebration of British Luxury craftsmanship."
Honeycomb and beehives from the palace gardens were the inspiration behind the second guest bedroom. For the House of Walpole we designed a fluted upholstered headboard with floating leather clad beside tables. This was framed with Lee Brooms pendants and sat on top of a beautiful Jennifer Manners rug. The David Shrigley artwork adds a burst of colour to the calm blue hues.
House of Walpole
Bringing together the best British brands under one very luxurious roof, Bazaar is proud to have collaborated on The House of Walpole, a bespoke, one-off residence at Northacre's Royal address, No. 1 Palace St, The St Regis Residences. Over looking the Palace Gardens, the interiors celebrate not only the great history of the building, but the power of collaboration between those who know luxury best.
The artwork throughout the apartment has been handpicked by Maddox Gallery, including some of the most celebrated artists such as, Damien Hurst, Jeff Koons and David Shrigley. Here you can see the hallway graced with the Flower Thrower Triptych by Banksy.
