Hayon x Nani Rectangular Rug

£2,860

Created with the hand tufting technique, a manually operated pistol injects pieces of wool, intuitive and fluid lines are achieved, as well as an organic composition. The definitive and faithful reproduction of the original sketch by the designer.

A first glance reveals a chaotic tangle of colours and shapes that invade the rug. However, after looking carefully, the imagination of Jaime Hayon springs to life: turtles, lips, hands, stools, fish, half men–half birds…

100% New Zealand Wool

More information about Delivery & Returns

Nani Marquina founded her namesake company in 1987 in Barcelona. More than 30 years later, the company, now managed by the second generation, continues to offer rugs to a world interested in creativity, quality, and innovation. Their partners in this visionary challenge are the best designers in the sector and the most enthusiastic artisans. With a deep respect for tradition and the environment, they make their rugs with ancient techniques by weavers in India, Pakistan, and Nepal. Sustainability has long been a constant in their trajectory and they continue to work every day to generate a positive impact on our environment. They design long-lasting rugs that do not encourage the throwaway culture, products that can be recycled at the end of their lifecycle.

The result: responsibly created, handmade pieces that reveal stories in every detail.
