Lennox Cato

Side Cabinet - 19th Century

A fine George III period rosewood break-fronted side cabinet strung throughout in ebony. The top is inlaid with a wide cross-banding of satinwood. The central pair of doors are flanked by a single door on each side all with pleated silk panels. The cupboards each incorporate two shelves. The whole is raised on square tapering feet.

The colour of the rosewood has faded to a gorgeous honey colour and as the proportions of this piece are small and shallow it makes it the perfect piece for an apartment or small house.
