The Braided Throw is an intricately knitted piece made out of soft, brushed spun yarn with a graphically complex stitch evocative of traditional hand-braiding techniques. The textile fabrication has a tactile depth and texture that ensures warmth, and this throw will last a lifetime when treated with love. Alpaca blend with contrast stitch and viscose accent.

Hand wash in cold water; do not soak; leave to dry on a flat surface; due to natural fibre content, excess friction can lead to pilling, carefully trim pilling with scissors. The colours on the throw may appear slightly different depending on the angle you view it from; fully reversible design.

Founded by Natalia Nicolau, Ambar stems from her background in fashion and a decade’s experience in developing textiles for brands both in her native Brazil and the UK. Her degree in architecture is also instrumental throughout all research and the creative processes.
Natalia draws inspiration from traditional textile techniques such as hand-weaving and embroidery, and closely manages the development of all products with her UK suppliers along each phase of the production process. Her love of fashion and architectural forms lead to Ambar, a homeware and lifestyle brand that joins visual and tactile comfort with personal style, to help you transform your house into a home.
